A resilient mindset is what gets you through 2020
Having the ability to adapt and bounce back when things don't go as planned...
This is something that my wife and I have in common and has allowed us to pick ourselves up, build and grow the companies we started.
Being able to learn from mistakes and move forward rather than wallow or dwell on failures is key, even if sometimes that is tough.
I've learnt that being resilient in situations can even build inner strength and boost confidence in many areas of life.
Through all the chaos Covid has thrown at us, Helen McGuire and her business partner, Hayley Bakker, are creating tech tools that businesses can use to reach a better range of talent and improve diversity. And they've raised $200,000 for that idea.
I take my hat off to them - this is resilience in a bottle.
