The best D365 consultants didn't wait
The skills shaping today's Microsoft Dynamics market.
I've spoken to a lot of D365 consultants lately. Plenty of them are having the best year of their careers.
Same titles.
Same experience.
The offers don't stop.
From where I'm sitting, it isn't talent or ability. It's timing.
They added the new skills early. Power Platform. Copilot. Agent config.
Stacked on real functional or CE depth.
The ones treading water added nothing new, and they're hoping last year's rate holds. I'm not sure it does.
And that's not a knock on them. Most just never had a reason to learn it. The work never forced the issue.
But here's the hopeful bit: this is a skills gap, not a talent gap. The most fixable problem in the market.
The best aren't the most experienced. They're the ones who keep moving when the work changes.
