Summary:
Key day-to-day player on defined top accounts:
  • Managing key client relationships within designated client marketing teams, including CMOs and marketing operations and managers
  • Engagement and leadership in strategic initiatives
  • Ownership of partner agency relationships including Media, PR and production
  • Oversight of creative development and associated production
  • Oversight and management of account team
  • Partnering with companies Strategy, Client teams and vendors on Research projects
And above all, be an advocate for breakthrough work.  Help the agency create, sell and execute great work.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for health of client/agency relationship
  • Key point of contact for senior clients within designated marketing teams
  • Build a deep understanding of client’s business and customer segments
  • Manage and lead strategic direction and creative development
  • Lead entire team (internal and external) with inspired thinking and breakthrough ideas
  • Partner with Digital and Media agencies co-located with company, and with external diverse segment agencies, to direct, sell and produce the best integrated work
  • Lead production-focused projects and initiatives (specifically large-scale shoots) with a detailed oversight of plan, pre-production and post
  • Identify ways to optimize campaigns based on program performance
  • Accountable for the growth and professional development of account management team members at agency
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to grow the business, engage partners and add value to clients
  • Ensure agency resources are effectively and profitably deployed in service of client
  • Weekly and Quarterly reviews (internally and with the client) analyzing the performance of the team and quality of work
  • Anticipate potential issues and opportunities and provide actionable solutions/recommendations
  • Bring broader client and industry perspectives to enhance the thinking and performance of the client/agency team
  • Balance responsibilities across within the team and across different initiatives in the year
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Account Director
  • Experience leading integrated accounts and working with partner agencies
  • Desire to collaborate
  • Positive attitude and ability to motivate teams
  • Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
