DMCG Global is looking for a B2B Strategy Director.
The B2B Strategy Director leads advertising, communications and brand strategy across agency clients, using market analysis, qualitative and quantitative research, brand and marketing methodologies, to deliver brand positioning, communications strategies, and integrated advertising campaigns.
The day to day role revolves around working closely with clients to understand their commercial and brand challenges, developing advertising and brand campaigns to present to clients, and measuring the effectiveness of campaigns.
In addition to working on existing client business, the role also involves bringing in new business and growing existing business both in Singapore and globally.
Own the strategic output within the portfolio of clients and inspire great creative work and business success for their clients.
Grow client's B2B proposition and business alongside the B2B client lead
Inspire client, their clients and the whole of partnership by providing outstanding vision and thinking across the modern marketing landscape.
To help all stakeholders (team, agency and clients) cut through the sometimes complicated world of today’s marketing landscape and filter lots of thinking into one clear direction.
To cut through and identify clear and differentiated directions for brand, channel and digital/social briefs that inspire great creative and business success.
Lead conversations around brand and business strategy as well as social and digital marketing, data and optimisation
Leading & mentoring more junior members of the planning department
Maintaining and developing the unique and positive culture.
To be a global ambassador and collaborator for the client, both internally and externally – leading think pieces and points of view.
Develop, implement and share ways of working to ensure the highest standards of work, are always maintained within the agency – fulfilling the agency’s founding principles and challenger philosophy.
Oversee the formal evaluation of completed campaigns and sharing of results
Review creative work in an objective and constructive manner, working closely with the senior creative teams to deliver the best product possible in the pursuit of work the populates culture.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE
You will need to:
Have proven, significant, experience working as a communications strategist
Have experience of leading brand and communications strategy on regional or global B2B accounts
Have an understanding of the tools & methodologies used in B2B communications
Demonstrate that you can solve commercial problems in complex organisations
Have experience leading a team
Have experience in new product development
6+ years in a communications strategy role, with at least 2+ years within B2B specialisms
Your years as a strategist matter but we are more focused on thinking & attitude over years of experience
Undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification)
