The Role
You will be working within the global in-house content agency for a global brand. The agency will be responsible for the end-to-end content framework, from setting digital strategies across social, CRM and web to content creation and global delivery (markets include US, Germany and Japan). The newly formed Content Studio will be a fast moving ‘marketing newsroom’ building banks of creative assets, that are created, distributed, measured and improved in real time
The right candidate is a flexible and creative data and insight professional with previous experience of working with digital and social data.
The agency will look to the candidate to design, create and support the delivery of customer reports and presentations, providing insights that inform outstanding strategy and creative. They will be responsible for defining / refining the tools, methodologies, propositions and business plans for our data offer – as well as inputting into briefs and monitoring results in ‘real time’.
Day to day, the candidate will work with the agency’s existing toolkit of data platforms and methodologies, and where appropriate the client’s own data platforms. Because the toolkit is wide, varied and expected to change from time-to-time, existing expertise in the full range of platforms in our list is useful, but not an absolute requirement. Rather, we are looking for candidates to have the capability to work quickly, independently and intelligently to incorporate data from a wide range of relevant sources, using a rigorous but flexible approach to surface high quality insights that drive outstanding creative, and winning strategies.
We are open to both talented mid-weight and senior analysts with clear potential ready to step up into their first leadership role.
Requirements
Design and deliver effective, on-budget solutions for data, reporting and insights
Manage vendors in the agency’s analytics toolkit, ensuring that we maintain a broad and comprehensive data and analytics capability, while securing the most value for our spend
Maintain cutting edge data expertise, and ensure that it is leveraged far and wide on behalf of the agency
Tools - It is not necessary to have deep understanding of every platform, and type of platform in the portfolio – but the candidate should have an excellent understanding of the marketing analytics technology space in general, and a capacity to learn quickly.
Native Social Analytics – native paid and organic analytics platforms for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest etc
Social Media Management – data and analytics functionality in third party enterprise platforms such as Spredfast, Adobe Social, Hootsuite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Sprinklr
Social Listening – creating searches and interpreting results from platforms like Sysomos, Crimson Hexagon, Netbase, Pulsar
Audience planning and landscaping– GlobalWebIndex, Statista, TGI, YouGov, Facebook Topic Data and the like
Web analytics – GA, Adobe Analytics
Search trends – Google Trends, Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, Linkdex
