Exceptional UX Designer with good client facing skills is needed for exciting start-up consultancy.

My client is a founder of a digital consultancy established in early 2020. It's a new business but they are affiliated to a successful app development agency established for over 10 years.  This consultancy (digital strategy & design focus) has been busy working all through the pandemic and they need an additional permanent UX designer in place to be able to scale the business.

The team work remotely and have daily stand ups and are in regular communication. They might take a physical space in 2021 but everyone is happy working remotely and they will always offer remote working and be very flexible for the right UX Designer

We are looking for a UX Designer to join permanently to become a UX lead and an ambassador for the digital consultancy: to build the team and to lead the charge on UX. In this role you will work closely with the Head of Research and Analytics and the Head of Design, one of the company founders.

Clients they are working with include large international companies including automotive, professional services and financial services - the work is aimed at business/enterprise and consumer. Travel is a possibility but not mandatory.

Day to day:

  • You will work with the research and insights lead and use findings to map the personas and start to build journeys and flow.

  • It's not imperative that the UX designer is experienced in app design first as you are likely to work across different digital products: website, apps and any digital product relevant to the clients' needs.

  • You will be a passionate UX designer: someone who will be a 'pioneer' for great UX and help share insight and enthusiasm with clients and the team.

  • From a mindset perspective you will spot be able to spot growth opportunities with clients and be flexible entrepreneurial and agile minded to act on them.

  • You will be someone with rigour and detail, good at presenting, used to navigating bureaucracy and a enterprise business landscape to get the best outcome.

  • As a senior UX designer you will be somebody who manages stakeholder relationships well and enjoy this aspect of the role.

My client will be very flexible for the right person - even 4 days a week and the salary is dependent on experience £45-70K.

You must be eligible to be employed and work in the UK without sponsorship.
