We are working with a leading independent Creative & Advertising Agency who are looking for an Account Director to join their team.
The Account Director is responsible for leading the ongoing advertising/communications process for their clients.
The Account Director is responsible for leading the communications development process, from the development of the communications strategy and creative brief through to overseeing the production of the finished advertisements.
The Account Director should also strive to be involved in the client pre-briefing such as assisting the client in putting together the marketing strategy and brand plans.
The Account Director is responsible for the development and growth of their direct reports and encouraging them to develop more junior team members.
Should be the key point of contact for Marketing Manager and Senior Brand Manager or Client equivalent
Job Specific responsibilities
Support the GAD and agency planner to lead client’s brand planning (lead on smaller accounts where no GAD)
Partner with the agency planner to develop the communications strategy for medium campaigns, for large campaigns on large accounts AD to involve GAD
Help develop an integrated communications strategy for all campaigns
Partner with the agency planner to prepare the creative brief
Oversee the various production stages every advertisement goes through
Ensure the advertising is created on time and on budget.
