DMCG Global is looking for an Account Director to work across a variety of Regional & Global accounts for our Client.
Our client is one of the world’s leading integrated marketing agency in a range of sectors but is ideally looking for someone with a travel & tourism background.
This Account Director will be based in Dubai with around 7 years + experience of working within a leading agency environment. This Account Director can come from Design, Branding, Digital, Advertising or Communications – what is important is that you have a strategic mind and have the ability to project manage and engage with clients F2F on a regular basis. We are looking for a proactive, business savvy Account Director capable of having C-Suite conversations and with a proven track record of business growth and development.

Responsibilities
- Develop strong working relationships with assigned clients, serving as their day-to-day contact
- Work effectively with a multidisciplinary internal team to ensure client satisfaction through successful project delivery
- Communicate project-specific client briefs to the internal team
- Troubleshoot project delivery challenges and collaborate with colleagues as necessary to address these
- Lead client and internal status updates, and execute/oversee client meetings
- Serve as the point of contact for customers in your portfolio
- Understand customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business
- Ensure the timely delivery of services and products to clients
- Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen customer trust
- At least 7 years of experience in an account management role, or similar, agency environment. Travel and Tourism experience a bonus.
- Needs to be fluent in English and Arabic
- Experience in publications planning and implementation is preferred
- Excellent project planning and project management skills
- Highly organised with proven ability to multitask
- Proactive and problem-solving approach
- Ability to think creatively and innovate
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience mentoring others is preferable
- Ability to talk to clients at times suitable for their destinations
- Open to travel to destinations for events where deemed appropriate
