Our client is a leading digital agency's with offices across Australia. They have experienced growth and continue to onboard new clients and now require to hire more account managers across the country. They are now looking for a hungry Business Development Manager to join their sales team to drive their digital marketing offering in the Melbourne region.
Scope
You will be working in a fast-paced environment along side the CEO who has since relocated to Melbourne. Together you will plan out and work towards achieving business growth goals for the agency.
To be successful in this role you need to have a proven track record in developing your own leads with strong networking and stakeholder management skills. You are someone who is results driven, highly proactive and can motivate and lead a team of sales consultants. Experience in Digital Marketing is essential.

Responsibilities
- Developing a sales strategy and executing plan to achieve targets
- Identifying new sales/business prospects/opportunities and converting into customers
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Identifying evolving customer needs and being aware of new, emerging products and competition in our industry
- Plan strategic approaches and pitch persuasively
- Reporting to the CEO on successes and areas needing improvement
- Managing & motivating a team of sales consultants to achieve their individual targets
The Skills:
- Sales experience in the digital industry is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of digital marketing products and understanding of trends
- Excellent communication skills, time management, organisation, and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Team player
