DMCG Global has been retained to identify a leading digital and data practitioner to join a world class brand as their Chief Digital & Data Officer to be based in Hong Kong.
 
Our client is a full-service, integrated global brand responsible for delivering a best-in-class creative solutions for a billion-dollar B2C brand. Hong Kong is our client’s regional office for Asia, bringing together experts from a number of partner agencies across brand, performance, data driven marketing and commerce activation
 
DMCG Global is seeking a world-class senior practitioner to transform our client’s digital product for their client in the Asia-Pacific region.
 
This Chief Digital & Data Officer will be responsible for accelerating our client’s digital transformation agenda in the region across 2 key pillars:

  1. Digital commerce

  2. Personalization at scale, (programmatic media; search and social; data acquisition/ CRM)

This Chief Digital & Data Officer will have solid experience across both brand and performance and be able to stitch together strategies across the digital eco-system to build seamless customer experiences.
 
The successful candidate will be able to lead a data-driven digital transformation agenda and will have the experience and know-how to execute that vision.
 
This Chief Digital & Data Officer will need to work closely with the dedicated Performance Media Lead, who manages a hub of Performance and Commerce specialists in Singapore. You will lead, motivate and nurture a team in HK across media, audience planning, tech, data analytics.
 
You should have 15 years + of relevant industry experience; of which at least 5 years should be in senior agency positions.
 
The successful candidate will have personally led / been involved in digital transformation for a CPG client, ideally in Asia.
 
Experience on regional and/or global client businesses (preferably in FMCG).
 
Ideally will have lived and worked in the Asia Pacific region in the last 3 years, but this isn’t critical.
 
Fluent verbal and written English essential; other Asian languages desirable. You will be a charismatic leader who can inspire.
