At 'Easier' we're on a journey to make a positive impact on the property rental marketing by making things easier for everyone. With a rapid recruitment drive underway, we are looking to appoint a Chief People Officer to help manage and build out the HR / People & Culture function of 'Easier'.
 
Scope of Role
As Chief People Officer for ‘Easier’ you will form part of the executive team where you will design and deliver a People & Culture agenda that fits our company purpose and ambitious growth trajectory. You will provide both operational and strategic support to the CEO and leadership team, building capability across all areas of people management.
 
You will be walking in on a blank slate where you might be needed to flex between designing forward thinking, strategic solutions whilst being able to swiftly resolve various reactive people issues as they arise. This role will deliver high impact initiatives, enhance employee morale and purpose, promote good people practices and contribute to the already positive culture within the organisation.
 
About You
You’re an experienced leader in People & Culture professional with prior exposure to coaching and building VC funded teams. This role is regarded as the highest possible HR position in ‘Easier’ and will require the following experience and knowledge below:
 
  • Strong history and recent experience in a senior HR Leadership or Advisory role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or diploma in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights inform business decision making
  • Prior experience developing strategies of sourcing best talent whilst reducing the capital to revenue ratio
  • Prior experience in a tech start-up is highly advantageous in fast paced hiring environment
  • Ability to think creatively and willingness to respectfully challenge business leaders on traditional approaches
  • Up to date with current industry trends and employment legislation to ensure regulatory compliance. Identifies trends that could impact the organisation objectives
  • A passion for people and desire to drive strong meaningful purpose throughout an organisation
