Are you a senior-level brand design talent with a beautifully crafted portfolio and a passion for typography and brand programme work?
If you are looking to join an independent , maybe you feel wrung out by by the bureaucracy of working for a network, this might be a great role for you.
We are looking for talented designers who are equal part leaders and creators. You will relish the idea of managing design work streams; presenting to clients; developing the best work from members of your team; voice your opinion and share insights; and roll up your sleeves to craft beautiful solutions.
The agency CD and MD joined 2 years ago and have injected new life in to an already established and respected agency. New clients have followed and the team has grown. We are looking to find a great Design Director or Senior Designer looking to make the move to help consolidate the team.
Reporting to the CD you will help manage project teams including senior/mid and junior designers and work alongside the digital design team in partnership.
We are looking for:
- 8 years + design and branding experience
- polished communication and presentation skills
- experience managing projects from concept to completion
- an interest in people and developing your team
- expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office (for presentations)
They are busy and have some exciting projects in the pipeline : a new consumer bank brand ; 2 identity/brand creations for tech companies, an industrial engineering client; an architecture firm and a large infrastructure provider. It's very varied and every day is different.
The ACD and DD are assigned the projects and then the senior designer and junior work in to them on projects.
This could be an established DD with a great folio and experience and confidence presenting to clients OR a Senior Designer ready to make a step up where the CD is happy to coach and help develop the experience.
We are open to seeing folios from designers with a desire to start freelance and move into permanent or to start straight in to a permanent role. The role is paying $140-160K.
The team are all working from home at the moment and the idea is that they will be -3 days in the NY office from early 2022.
