We are working with a very cool, interesting independent agency/studio with great clients who are looking for a part time designer for 3-6 months and potentially rolling on. Their part time designer is going on maternity leave in mid December.

We are looking for a part time designer with examples of stylish brand and identity work, good typography, a great eye for on-trend graphics and contemporary layout, some digital and presentation work. Ideally you'll feel comfortable in Sketch up and 3D to be able to illustrate and render any physical design concepts. That's a nice to have bit.

The agency specialises in making brands culturally relevant. They call themselves cultural engineers and the work is varied from original format TV content to festival activations, to VR app to immersive retail experiences at the cutting edge of technology and creating 'world firsts'.

The current designer works 5  x half days basically and this flexibility works well for the studio too.

They are looking to pay c.£300 a day freelance (outside IR35 as the agency is 20 people in size)  and they are open to how the time might be split: but probably not just Mon/Tues/Weds leaving Thurs and Friday without cover.

50% of your work will be curating and helping design pitch decks and presentations. They are looking to refresh the agency branding and the presentation template which you will help design  - and also sometimes work in the client's 'brand' style. These decks are created in Google slides so that everyone can collaborate and input. Working in Google slides the designer needs to have a good eye for layout and to help pull these together in a cohesive way.  You might also design some of the visual assets in the presentation depending on what is involved.

As well as presentations the designer will work on specific projects including identity and brand creation and digital assets for the events and experiences that they create.

Reporting to the ECD, this would be like a 'permalance', part time role and could well roll on past the maternity leave cover depending on both parties needs.

If long term, part time design work suits you and you fancy working with a team of very cool people and very interesting projects, send your amazingly crafted folio to nicky@dmcgglobal.com.

Must be able to work in the UK without sponsorship. Hybrid working , 1 day in the agency, majority from home.
