DMCG Global is currently seeking a Digital Performance Director to join a global PR, Media and communication agency. The job position is based in Seoul, South Korea.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 6-7 years’ experience in digital marketing positions and used to working on performance-driven businesses. The candidate should have experience in a high growth sector or have worked in a company undergoing significant growth at the time. The preferred candidate should have high commercial acumen & be a digital specialist particularly in paid performance channels including PPC, social, display & online video.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are essential while a Korean-speaker is preferable but not a prerequisite.

- Performance-driven, ensuring that monthly conversion targets are met in line with client expectations.
- Responsible for digital performance strategy & investment by channel.
- Complete & manage the forecast/ plan of monthly budgets in-line with client objectives.
- Oversee optimization of campaigns through utilization of bid management tools to deliver on-going paid performance.
- Lead, maintain, and grow strong relationships with relevant client stakeholders.
- Building the relationship with the client’s marketing team from the start through effective communication – calls, meetings & presentations.
- Manage the client relationship to build respect and trust in your judgement.
- Be the main point escalation for account challenges/issues.
- Train & support members of the client’s marketing team.
- Client facing presentations on strategy, campaign recommendations and subsequent results.
- Develop and maintain development plans, roadmaps, media plans, and lead on strategy and reporting across your client portfolio.
- Develop a clear understanding of client business and marketing objectives.
- Build relationships with Havas digital performance team (both senior & executive) to ensure effective communication & best solutions for the client.
- Have extensive ‘deep digital, data and tech’ expertise within the team and agency.
- Help to drive innovation and creative search solutions for the client.
- Develop and lead innovative, data-driven strategies & champion digital innovation
- Design innovative test-and-learn programs that deliver on the over-arching client strategy; driving the client marketing activity forward.
- Reflect the agency ambition and vision in all work, ensuring the highest standards are met.
- Help to deliver improvements in digital performance operations & client delivery.
- 6-7 years experience within a Performance remit, ideally within an agency environment.
- Management experience is essential.
- Experience with managing a retail client is a plus.
- Commercial experience – commercial responsibility/exposure for clients or team.
- Excellent knowledge/experience of digital performance strategies.
- Must be able to communicate well, interpret Performance marketing to the client and manage their expectations on targets & results.
- Excellent knowledge of industry tools and latest technologies.
- Good numeracy skills with strong knowledge/ experience of MS Excel.
- Passion for, and a wide understanding of, all aspects of digital media.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload across your team.
- Excellent communicator – written and verbal, with the ability to present confidently.
- Ability to work autonomously & under pressure.
- Thorough attention to detail is essential.
