Lead Front End Developer

We’ve partnered up with a WA award-winning business that has been trailblazing in the tech & construction industry. Since their inception in 2014, the digital pioneering business has enjoyed rapid and steady growth through their excellent product offerings with business operations now spanning across 11 countries (Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Vietnam among others). With a clear focus of providing a seamless end-to-end digital user experience for customers, they now require a Lead Front-End Developer to join their growing tech team on a permanent basis to assist with the implementation of the next phase of their new platform.

  
Job Scope.

Leveraging your skills & experience as a Lead Front-End Developer, you’ll working with the Tech Lead to internally develop a bespoke project management tool for customers. In essence, you will have the opportunity to take the lead on establishing and driving the technical direction for front-end development. You will work closely with designers & engineers to create innovative websites & product configurators.
  
As part of the business’ strategic growth plans, this role will also provide an opportunity to lead/mentor a junior front-end developer making it ideal if you would like to transition into management while putting your technical front-end experience into use.

As a result, you would ideally also have a keen eye for design, detail and natural UI/UX sensibilities to be able effectively collaborate with designers & engineers.


Essential Skills.  

• Proven commercial experience in driving the technical direction for front-end development
• Proficient in front end development libraries and frameworks (React.Js & Next.Js)
• Highly competent in HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Typescript
• Excellent understanding of front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, Storybook)
• Knowledge & experience with cloud platforms (AWS & Docker is a bonus!)
• Working in an Agile environment
