Job Title:             Head Of Business Development
Sector:                 Social Media and Influencer Marketing
Location:             Based in USA – fully remote
Salary:                 $120,000 to $140,000 plus commission

The agency covers end-to-end social marketing services, from insights, segmentation, marketing strategy, campaign planning & execution to content production.

What are they looking for
They are looking for a New Business Development Director to lead their business growth in the USA. They have already achieved success with brands based in the USA and are ready to grow to the next phase. You will own marketing, new business, P&L and account development targets, taking accountability for achieving the short and long term revenue plans. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
New business generation in the USA Develop and execute sales plan Generate sales leads by prospecting target clients Search for and maintain a database of prospective clients Help with the development of appropriate presentations to generate new business A willingness to work long hours as needed, often under pressure Effectively manage your sales pipeline, ensuring it is up to date and accurate at all times Weekly and monthly reporting to management on sales activities, pipeline, P&L and forecasts Bring new ideas and initiatives to the fore to grow the new business opportunities and expand the brand globally Maintain knowledge of the social media marketing industry

Essential:
Previous experience selling into the USA and influencer marketing Have direct contact with key decision-makers within direct organisations (e.g. Marketing Procurement, Marketing Director) Proven track record of successfully hitting targets and growing client base Experienced and successful in new business development Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team Accurate in all communications and takes pride in how they present themselves and the company Proficient communication skills, verbal and written
