About the role
This is an opportunity to join our client’s leadership team at an exciting time of growth and integration for the company. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for finding efficiencies across the business whilst driving a high level safety culture across a multi-site operation. As such, you will play an important role in the client achieving its ambition, to ensure every aspect of their business works well together and operates consistently to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will have a logistics background in perishable goods, share our client’s passion for caring for people, taking pride in delivering an exceptional product to customers, an advocate for best practice processes. You will have experience in and enjoy leading a diverse team and creating a strong team culture, understand the value of process particularly when it comes to safety, efficiency and optimising product quality and a track record for successfully managing complex logistics requirements
