Interesting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join a leading Brisbane-based digital experience agency which have been increasingly engaged in transformation & strategic project in recent years.

the Opportunity.


As the Senior Data Analyst, the overall objective is to develop, implement, and maintain data collection strategies to turn website, marketing, and survey data into information and insights.

This role will be responsible for developing data collection strategies based on product requirements and business needs, and for engaging and communicating with stakeholders to ensure we’ve fully understood data and website tracking requirements. 
  
You will follow best practice to implement and monitor data collection activities (e.g., reports, dashboards.), and take ownership of progressing data and analytics activities for our clients as well evaluate or review data collection methods and platforms to maintain data integrity in the organisation.

Primary tools include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Qualtrics, Tableau, MS Excel, and Word. 


the Responsibilities.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand, scope, and document data and website tracking requirements to contribute towards continuous product improvement
  • Advise stakeholders on best practice data collection methods, tools, and technologies
  • Generate and execute data collection strategies to contribute towards product performance reporting
  • Identify new sources of data, as well as new methods for analyzing existing data sources, for us to include in dashboards, and data analysis and reporting products
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify process improvements
  • Visualize, analyze, and report complex data for stakeholders so that key business questions can be answered quickly and easily
  • Prepare data reports suitable for specified audiences based on pre-defined objectives
  • Present data insights to internal and external teams

about You.
 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Tableau and Qualtrics would also be beneficial.
  • R, Python, machine learning/predictive modelling - experience in any or all the following would be beneficial but isn’t required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in data visualisation and analysis techniques, that simplifies complex data into actionable insights.
  • Effective written and oral communication and collaboration at all levels of the business
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
