Both roles are part of the studio within the ad agency and both are focused on producing digital campaigns and social assets for this client's campaigns. There's a separate design team responsible for the development of print, OOH and TV.
The client account has been with the agency for over 20 years and it's an important account in the agency and a strong client relationship. As a global account they produce 6-8 campaigns each year, for 18 international territories, and require 1000s of assets each year.
5 years ago the agency built an automated platform that the media agency, client and creative agency all access. These two design roles focus on designing the various formats and assets that are needed and uploading them to the platform to cover the digital ad and social requirements for each new product launch or campaign. A meticulous and calm approach and attention to detail is needed by the the DD/lead who will look at the media schedule and requests on the system and assess whether the right assets exist. If not, this would involve and taking the work offline to design new formats.
Both these roles require designers with a refined design aesthetic and an interest in luxury who are detailed enough to work through requirements and produce these. Divide and conquer.
We are looking for:
- Have 6+ years’ experience as a designer in a digital agency
- Have a passion for all aspects of digital design, including social, display ads, motion design
- Have a very strong understanding and execution on digital / social media platforms
- Be confident in producing campaign concept work as well as responsive platform design work
- Able to define and execute the look and feel, as well as create wireframes, style photography and iconography.
- Work well autonomously as well as to a tight brief
- • Possess excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects and InDesign
c. £60K for the senior designer and £80K for the Design Director.
The agency is c. 40 people, all working remotely, finalising new office space in central London from Jan 2021, when it will be hybrid working and possible remote working entirely for some roles. The agency has grown in the past 2 years, it's a respected agency and a healthy workplace with a fab CEO and leader.
