Senior Software Developer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join our team of 60+ engineers where you'll be working alongside a core group of talented colleagues who dare to take chances and risks to find the best solutions. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic action plans needed to achieve the organizational goals set by their management. You will direct and coordinate operations of the team as well as lead and develop the team and the individuals in the team. We focus on continuous integration and deployment practices and you will be delving into different projects, and always be on the lookout for new innovative ways to approach tasks using the latest tools and cutting-edge technologies.
 
Experience Required :

• Provide production level support and operational support to the organization

• Write new code and update existing code within our telematics applications

• Perform end-to-end testing in pre-production environments

• Assist with gathering and documenting requirements

• Participate in continuous improvement activities for the development team in order to ensure consistent, efficient, high quality service

• Drive new product innovation through research and study of new technology

• Estimate and plan work, delivering within scope, timelines and budget

• 5+ years from a software position ideally in SaaS or at an early stage start-up.

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, Software Development, or related

• You speak Java or C# fluently and have experience with specifying and developing REST APIs using Spring Boot or similar frameworks

• You take pride in writing well-designed, tested code, and peer code review is part of your way-of-working

• You have experience or are motivated to learn open-source, scale-out platforms/technologies such as Kafka, Flink, Cassandra, Kubernetes, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis as well as metrics/monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, Humio.

• You have experience within CI/CD and are familiar with one or more of these tools/frameworks: Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab

• Experience with AWS is preferred
