Our client is a globally networked agency based in Shanghai. They are award winning and produce some of the region’s best creative for global clients. Due to their continued growth and pitch wins they are now looking for an experienced Traffic Manager to join their passionate, agile and creative team.
As a Resource Manager you’ll be responsible for the smooth and effective allocation of work to the creative team, understanding clients’ needs and day to day resourcing requirements. You’ll be working closely with the entire team and will monitor all jobs running throughout the entire department. Developing work schedules and understanding the different skill levels of the creatives and allocating briefs accordingly.
Running weekly resource meetings alongside stakeholders and forecasting upcoming work
Ensuring that all work is allocated a deadline, signed off and resourced appropriately
Acting as a first point of contact for any resourcing issues that may arise
Ensuring all team members are fully briefed, aware of timelines, and have relevant documentation to complete work required
Overseeing the production phase
Take ownership of adhoc admin, including tracking approved holidays and briefing new team members on correct procedures
Have very strong written and interpersonal skills
Handle a number of projects at any one time and work well under pressure.
We are looking for someone extremely organized and process driven. Someone who is well read and articulate. Who can handle multiple clients and jobs at once. Who can understand job flows and build systems to ensure that work is completed on time, on brief and on budget. Someone who has had previous experience managing large teams within award winning advertising agencies.
Skills & Qualifications
ATL, BTL and Digital experience
Experience running creative teams
Prior experience in working in an agency environment
Experience building traffic management systems
Thorough understanding of agency processes and systems
