Brand evolution is rarely about starting again, it’s about alignment.
Working with London-based agency Ragged Edge, Granola has moved away from a scrappy startup look towards a brand that feels trustworthy, considered and scalable, without losing personality. A redesign that turns “progress over process” into something you can actually feel, with a calm intelligence rooted in the brand.
Featured in Orbit Issue 03, the design challenge was clear. Granola feels calm and steady to use, yet the people using it operate in fast-paced, high-energy environments. The brand needed to acknowledge and celebrate that momentum while remaining a composed presence within it.
The result is a refined identity system that introduces a new logo, updated typefaces and a cohesive visual language. It feels grown up without becoming generic and structured without becoming rigid.
What stands out most is the clarity of intent because this is not just a cosmetic refresh but a brand catching up with ambition - a system designed to support growth while staying rooted in a core belief: progress over process.
Work like this demonstrates that scaling a brand does not require compromise. It requires discipline, restraint and confidence in what already makes it strong.
